Each game has a story behind it. 

While progress in the game tells a story and gives clues to the background of the world, it also hints at how to defeat certain monsters, and give forshadowing for what the players will face in future games.


A Closer Look: What's with all the text?

Seven Swords was based on a roleplaying world that has been in my head for years. And to me, the most intetersting part of any game has always been the storytelling. Like a good book, what happenes to characters and how the world changes because of them always took a primary role in the worlds I would build.

Creating this game has given me a context in which to tell a story I have always wanted to tell, and while I have just scratched the surface of the depth of the world, it has given a launching point into one of the central themes of this world full of magic.
